Jude 23 Ministries is the culmination of a desire to do more for the kingdom of God internationally.
Shortly after coming to faith in Christ in the 1980s, George Bunnell gave his first tithe offering to an orphanage. Since that time, George has been fueled by the knoweledge that everyone needs compassion—regardless of social standing, ethnicity, or community.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them.
Matthew 9:36, NLT
George took the mandate found in the book of Jude personally, "And of some have compassion, making a difference." After 20 years of pastoring churches in Minnesota, George and his family followed his passion for missions work around the globe. Through Jude 23 Ministries, George partners with national churches in Asia, India, Latin America, South America, and Africa to effect change in the lives of communities through compassion and evangelism ministry.
Since its founding in March 2016, Jude 23 Ministries has been able to help build churches, purchase motorcycles for pastors, provide care for the elderly through senior care homes, dig fresh-bored water wells for communities, and provide food and basic necessities for pastors and their families during the global pandemic.
Meet the Bunnells
George Bunnell was raised in Mandan, North Dakota. In 1979, George's life was changed forever when he found a Bible in a garbage can. Soon after, he was confronted with the ultimate question: If you died today, would you go to heaven?
George experienced God's amazing forgiveness and was delivered from several addictions. He soon began sharing the truth of God's love and salvation through Jesus with everyone.
In addition to his work with Jude 23 Ministries, George serves as the International Director for Oasis World Ministries.
Brenda has served in church leadership as worship pastor and executive pastor, and in denomational leadership for over thirty years.
Brenda currently serves as an HR director for Cassia in Champlin, Minnesota.
George, Brenda, and their daughter, Kaylee Joy, reside in Maple Grove, Minnesota. They have three adult children—Ruthie and Tim, Benjamin and Natalie, and Ryan and Tracy—and 11 (and counting!) grandchildren.
